 New Zealand?
« Result #6 on Feb 17, 2009, 12:40am »

So, I see that there will be a couple of trips to New Zealand soon...

Is there any chance there will be any in (our) summer time to hit the slopes while it's cold down there? I'd love to go to New Zealand but I'd really want it to be a ski trip if I went.

 Hi there...
« Result #7 on Feb 8, 2009, 6:10pm »

Hello ASC...

Somewhat of an introduction here from a new member...

My name is Scott, I'm 24 years old, and I live in Acworth. My first time skiing was last year at Snowshoe, WV - and I *instantly* fell in love. After I stopped falling down, I had never had so much fun in my entire life. I immediately made plans for a trip to Colorado this year which takes place in about two weeks. I had lived in Colorado when I was young, but I had never discovered skiing. Needless to say, after skiing in WV, I cannot wait to slide down the powder snow I remember from my earlier years.

My store manager told me about the Atlanta Ski Club about a month ago, and it looks like I've already missed a lot of great opportunities to go skiing. In any case, I look forward to the chance to take many more ski trips throughout the rest of my life. I'm happy to have found a medium for meeting people and having a great way to take affordable vacations! Vacation is definitely something I take very seriously - I try to take at least three a year.

Look forward to meeting you all!

Scott

Get free ski gear from Rossingol!
« Result #8 on Jan 28, 2009, 5:47pm »

A friend sent this to me and I figured I would share it with the club.

Rossignol is giving away free ski and snowboard gear if you use a Rossignol Google search engine. Basically it is a contest and you can earn points every time you search that can be redeemed for free Rossi gear (hats, helmets, ski bags and gift certificates).

If you click the icon below it takes you to the search and win site:

 Purgatory, Wolf Creek, & Telluride
« Result #9 on Jan 27, 2009, 12:33pm »

Hi Everyone ~

Studio at the Glacier Club in Durango to barter out. It sleeps 6 has a full kitchen with a dishwasher and it is 10 miles from Purgatory, 1.5 hours from Wolf Creek, and 2 hrs from Telluride.

It typically rents for $220 per night, has ski lockers in the lobby, shuttles to the airport and mountain, a signature restaurant, cafe, indoor - outdoor pool, hot tubs, complete health club, sauna, steam, etc.. all on property! You will only be responsible for paying the $35 per week maid's fee!

Call me up and let's see what you want to swap: 678-314-2829

COME AND SKI IN ITALY! ! !WE MISS YOU! ! !
« Result #10 on Jan 31, 2008, 2:51pm »

Buon Giorno my friends!

Do you remember me? I am Gabriele your Ski guide you had in Italy! We had so much fun together...
If you still remember me please, contact me because I would like us to share our ski photos of our Ski Trip in Italy!
I would like to invite the Trip Directors to send me an email to get our 2009 special deal Italy Ski Trips!
It is not true that Italy is expensive! US tour operators are just saying that. I have a tour operator based in Italy and we are specialized in Ski Trips.
We miss you American friends in Italy. Our Ski Packages are so unexpensive that you should consider it and come to Italy directly without being robbed by the US Tour Operators.

ITALY IS AFFORDABLE IF YOU USE THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS!

We miss you, really!

Love

Gabriele
